*Please bring your insurance card to your first visit if you plan to use an in-network insurance policy to help pay for your visits (see below).
Fees
In-network insurance:
• NC State Teachers and Employees Health Plan (Clear Pricing Project)
• Aetna (includes Duke University Employees)
• Cigna
• Blue Cross Blue Shield
• Medicare
Please pay your copay at the time of your visit.
Dr. Sellers will file claims to insurance for these 5 insurance types.
*Prior to meeting Dr. Sellers will discuss with you how Medicare
payment procedures differ from private insurance procedures.
Fee for service, Out-of-network insurance:
Most insurance policies include coverage for your visits.
Dr. Sellers will assist you in filing claims should you use your insurance benefits.
Fees are due at the time of your visit.
Initial visit: $275
Usual psychotherapy or psychotherapy plus medication visit: $200
Shorter visit (often used when medication is the main focus): $175
Due to federally-mandated changes to coding practices implemented
1/1/2013, if you use health insurance to help pay for visits the above charges may vary based on the complexity of issues at hand and the length of meeting.
